The Red Rooster Performance (RRP) Blaze is a premium slip-on exhaust system engineered specifically for the Triumph 400 series (Speed 400, Speed T4, and Scrambler 400X).

Launched in late 2024, the Blaze is designed to replace the heavy stock silencer with a sleek, angular unit that complements the modern-classic aesthetics of the Triumph while significantly sharpening the bike's performance and acoustic profile.

Variant Codes & Finishes

  • RRPBB (Black): A bold, heat-resistant matte black finish. This is the most popular choice for the Speed 400 and Speed T4, matching their dark chassis components.

  • RRPBM (Matte Silver): A sophisticated brushed stainless steel finish. It is highly durable and hides road grime or trail dust effectively, making it a favorite for the Scrambler 400X.

  • RRPBP (Polish Chrome): A high-luster mirror shine. Ideal for riders who want to add a traditional "classic" touch to their Triumph’s modern engine.

Performance & Technical Specs

Feature Specification Impact
Weight ~2.4 kg to 2.75 kg Saves over 7.5 kg compared to the massive stock system (10+ kg).
Material SS304 Stainless Steel Highest commercial grade; rust-proof and built for longevity.
Power Gain Up to 10% Increase Noticeable improvement in throttle response and mid-range torque.
Insulation Imported Stitched Ceramic Blanket Superior thermal management; the canister stays cooler than glass-wool alternatives.

Sound Profile: The "Refined Bark"

The Blaze exhaust is tuned to enhance the character of the Triumph’s single-cylinder TR-series engine without being obnoxious:

  • The Tone: It delivers a deep, crisp, and sporty exhaust note. It sounds significantly more "mechanical" and purposeful than the muted stock silencer.

  • Highway Manners: Specifically engineered to avoid annoying "droning" at cruising speeds (90–110 km/h), making it a great choice for touring.

  • DB Killer: Comes with a removable baffle.

    • Baffle In: Deep and punchy but street-respectful.

    • Baffle Out: A raw, aggressive bark that is best suited for closed-circuit or off-road use.

Why Choose the Blaze for Your Triumph?

  1. Agility Boost: By removing nearly 8kg from the rear of the bike, the Blaze significantly improves the power-to-weight ratio and makes the bike feel much more flickable in corners.

  2. No ECU Remap: It is a true Plug-and-Play system. The Triumph’s ECU is advanced enough to handle the increased flow of the Blaze without needing a fuel flash.

  3. Direct Fitment: Uses the original mounting points and does not require any cutting or welding.

  4. Warranty: Backed by Red Rooster's Lifetime Warranty on the exhaust body against rust and manufacturing defects.

Common Cross-Reference:

  • BMC Air Filter: Many riders pair the Blaze with the BMC FM01209 air filter to maximize the "Stage 1" intake/exhaust efficiency.
