The Red Rooster Performance (RRP) Rumbler GT (RRPRGT) is a specialized exhaust crafted specifically for the now-legendary Royal Enfield Continental GT 535 (the original Cafe Racer).
While most RRP exhausts focus on a universal "thump," the Rumbler GT was engineered to match the higher-revving, sportier nature of the 535cc UCE engine. It features a distinctive tapered, upswept design that perfectly aligns with the bike's cafe racer lines and rear-set footpegs.
Key Specifications
-
Model Code: RRPRGT (Polish Finish)
-
Material: High-grade SS304 Stainless Steel (Rust-proof for life).
-
Design: Slim, megaphone-style taper with an upswept angle for better lean clearance.
-
Finish: High-Gloss Polish to match the classic chrome/silver aesthetic of the GT 535.
Performance & Sound Profile
| Feature | Benefit for the GT 535 |
| Sound | Deep, racy, and "throaty." It has a sharper "bark" than the standard Bullet Rumbler, suited for a cafe racer. |
| Weight | Roughly 4 kg lighter than the stock long-bottle silencer, significantly improving the bike's power-to-weight ratio. |
| Performance | Improves exhaust scavenging, helping the 535cc engine breathe better at higher RPMs where the stock pipe felt restricted. |
| Heat Control | SS304 construction dissipates heat faster, which is vital for the air-cooled 535 engine during spirited riding. |
Critical Fitment Note
This exhaust is exclusive to the Continental GT 535.
-
Will NOT fit: The newer Continental GT 650 (Twin) or the Classic/Bullet 350/500 models.
-
Mounting: It uses a specific bracket to accommodate the GT 535’s unique frame and footpeg assembly.
Why the Rumbler GT is an Essential Upgrade
-
Handling: The GT 535 was built for cornering. Removing the heavy, low-slung stock silencer and replacing it with the lightweight, upswept RRP unit gives you much better lean angle clearance on the right side.
-
Aesthetics: The stock silencer was often criticized for being too long; the Rumbler GT is shorter and sits "tight" against the bike, exposing more of the rear wheel and swingarm.
-
Durability: The GT 535 is known for its high vibrations. The RRP Rumbler GT uses high-density Ceramic Wool packing that won't disintegrate or rattle loose like cheaper glass-wool alternatives.
Maintenance Tip
The Continental GT 535 engine runs quite hot. To prevent the Polish (RRPRGT) finish from developing a yellowish tint near the header joint (heat tinting), ensure your spark plug is clean and the bike isn't running too "lean." Using a high-quality chrome polish once a month will keep the mirror finish intact.
