The Red Rooster Performance (RRP) Stellar Pro is the upgraded, high-performance evolution of the original Stellar series for the Royal Enfield 650 Twins.
While the standard Stellar is known for its classic look and deep thump, the Pro version features a redesigned internal core. It is engineered to handle the higher exhaust gas velocities of the parallel-twin engine more efficiently, offering a sharper throttle response and a more "racy" acoustic note.
Variant Codes & Finishes
-
RRPSPB (Black Matte): A ceramic-coated matte black finish. This is the top choice for custom "blacked-out" builds or the Interceptor/GT "Dark" editions.
-
RRPSPM (Matte/Brushed Silver): A satin, brushed stainless steel finish. It matches the engine fins perfectly and is highly resistant to showing fingerprints or minor road debris marks.
-
RRPSPP (Polish Chrome): A mirror-finish chrome. This is the "classic" choice for those who want to maintain the iconic 1960s British twin aesthetic.

Sound Profile: The "Parallel Twin Symphony"
The Stellar Pro is designed to highlight the unique 270-degree firing order of the 650 engine:
-
Idle: A deep, rhythmic rumble that sounds much more "expensive" than the quiet stock note.
-
On the Gas: A ferocious, sporty growl. The "Pro" internals provide a slightly more aggressive bark than the standard Stellar when you're pushing past 5,000 RPM.
-
Deceleration: Provides a satisfying, subtle "burble" without the excessive popping found in cheaper, un-baffled pipes.
-
DB Killers: Includes removable baffles. Keeping them in is recommended for touring; removing them turns the bike into a "track-day" sounding machine.
Why the "Stellar Pro" is the 650 Twin Essential
-
Handling Improvement: Removing 6 kg of "unsprung" weight from the rear of the bike makes the Interceptor and GT 650 much easier to flick into corners.
-
Lean Angle: The Stellar Pro has a slimmer, slightly more upswept profile than the stock exhausts, giving you more confidence in deep leans.
-
Durability: Unlike the stock pipes, which are prone to internal "rattles" over time, the RRP units use high-quality ceramic wool that doesn't disintegrate easily.
Fitment & Maintenance
-
Compatibility: All years of the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 (BS4, BS6, and the latest LED-headlight versions).
-
ECU: No remap is required, but a Stage 1 setup (adding a BMC FM01070 air filter) is highly recommended to smooth out the fueling.
-
Cleaning: For the Polish (RRPSPP) version, use a high-quality chrome polish to keep the heat from "yellowing" the tips over time.
